Dr. Alex Kruse
Physical Therapist
Dr. Alex Kruse graduated with her clinical doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) in 2012 from Rosalind Franklin University in Illinois. She has extensive experience working in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating patients of all ages with a variety of physical therapy needs. In 2018 she completed a two and a half year manual therapy certification program which has enriched her treatment approach and skill set leading to more efficient and effective patient care. After spending two years as a traveling therapist she decided to take permanent residence in Las Cruces and continue working as part of the Back in Action family. When she is not working she enjoys spending time outdoors mountain biking, rock climbing and traveling.
Michael Gurule
Physical Therapist Assistant, Clinical Director
Mike has over a decade of experience in outpatient physical therapy clinics. Fluent in two languages, Mike brings exceptional skills in manual therapy and treating musculoskeletal conditions. With added certifications as a clinical instructor and Kinesio taping, Mike is truly an amazing addition to the Back in Action team.
Dr. Brandon Vaughn
Physical Therapist
Dr. Brandon Vaughn was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He attended Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN where he ran cross country and track for 4 years while obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Later he attended Dallas Baptist University where he received his Master's degree in Kinesiology before attending the University of Texas-El Paso where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2024. He enjoys working with patients from all ages and various orthopedic diagnoses. Outside of work he enjoys running, hiking, watching sports, and traveling.
Dr. Tim Worley
Physical Therapist
Dr. Tim Worley graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2024. After graduating, Tim moved to Boulder, CO where he gave athletes and older adults the tools they needed to enjoy their hobbies/lives without pain. After working in Colorado for a year, Tim returned to Las Cruces, to join the Back in Action Family and help the local community return to activities that they love. Tim enjoys Rock Climbing, reading and spending time outdoors in his free time.
Dr. Julieanne Hernandez
Physical Therapist
My name is Julieanne Cuevas Hernandez. I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Orlando, FL, at the age of 7, where I lived until 2024 when I began travel therapy. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my DPT in 2024. My hobbies include going to the gym and spending time with family.
Adriana Martinez
Therapy Technician
Adriana is from Las Cruces, New Mexico. Her hobbies include exercising, hiking with her dogs, and baking goodies. She is currently a personal training at Ryze gym, and was a former NMSU cheerleader and elementary/middle school cheer coach.
Leticia Mendoza
Business Operations Administrator
Leticia was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. She has worked with multiple businesses in Las Cruces in which she has developed her years of experience in Management and Customer Service skills. These years of experience have allowed her to build many professional relationships in the community. In her free time Leticia enjoys spending time with family, her pup and working on house projects.

I am a proud mother of three and grandmother of four, as my family continues to be the center of my life. I've been married to John for 33 years, and I enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance. At Back In Action , I love interacting with all of our wonderful patients and working alongside my Awesome coworkers, who make every day meaningful.

Zariyah Caldwell
Therapy Technician
My name is Zariyah. I was born and raised here in Las Cruces. I am a physical therapy technician who helps therapists by working with patients and walking them through their exercises. In my free time I like to enjoy time with my fiance and my dog babies. Also I like to dance as well as play softball as I have played softball the last 14-15 years.
